Careers and Enterprise Company Enterprise Adviser Network – 2 years on…

On Tuesday 10th October the Careers and Enterprise Company held an event to celebrate 2 years of the Enterprise Adviser Network.

The event showcased best practice from across the Network in a ‘festival of encounters’ including the invaluable contribution made by Enterprise Advisers, volunteers from business who have created opportunities for young people across the country to engage with the world of work in a variety of different ways.

One of the Enterprise Advisers interviewed was Louise Beards from Wesleyan Financial Services Ltd one of the first employers to be matched to a school in Birmingham. Louise is excited about the opportunity to support Four Dwellings Academy in Birmingham, helping the Academy embed a programme of activities including promoting Apprenticeships for both students and parents and creating a structured work experience programme within her organisation.
