A Busy Week

Key Stage 3 News
On Wednesday 19th November all pupils in year 7 and 8 had the opportunity to receive first aid and basic life support training delivered by students from the University of Birmingham in conjunction with the British Heart Foundation. The session lasted for two hours with pupils learning how to deal with an unconscious person, the signs and symptoms of a heart attack, recognising a cardiac arrest and performing CPR. All pupils received a certificate of attendance.




Key Stage 4 News

On Thursday 20th November Four Dwellings Academy held a careers convention in the hall introducing our pupils to the wide variety of opportunities available to them when they leave school. Over thirty providers attended sharing information about what they can offer school leavers including all aspects of Further Education, training and apprenticeship opportunities.
