Dear Parent/Guardian,

As we come to the end of another very busy half term I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and for working with the academy to ensure that pupils progress well, and that attendance and punctuality continue to improve. We recognise what a critical role parents and carers have in developing the academy and to build on this, Mr Morley is setting up a ‘parent voice’ group next half term. Details of the group are in the academy newsletter, please contact Mr Morley if you would like to be involved. Furthermore, parents can now email the academy directly on our new parent mail address – parents@fourdwellingsacademy.org

In addition, as part of the further development of our intervention strategy, there will be some changes to our ‘Inclusion’ provision next half term. Pupils placed in Inclusion will complete an alternative day, which will begin at 9.45am and end at 4pm. Parents will still be given 24 hours notice of this provision.

Finally, a reminder that pupils finish for the half term break on Thursday 24th October, and return at the normal time on Monday 4th November. Please remember that fizzy pop and caffeine based drinks are not allowed in school.

Have a good half term.

Yours sincerely,

R. Elcocks
Principal
