Pupils in Key Stage 3 have recently been allowing their creative juices to flow during tutor time in order to celebrate ‘World Space Week’ which took place in early October. The theme of ‘World Space Week’ this year was to celebrate the exploration of Mars and how it helps us to understand ourselves and the world in which we live.

Key Stage 3 pupils at Four Dwellings Academy watched an informative documentary and were then challenged to try to image what life on Mars (or any alien planet) might look like by creating their own alien. Assistant Head of Key Stage 3 Ms Leigh then judged the entries and awarded first place to Year 7 pupil Katie Hodgets for her three legged Gurk which you can see to the left!
