We
are considering whether to offer a system of online payments for parents to
allow the payment of dinner money, trips, music lessons and other payments -
there are a number of systems available such as ParentPay, ParentMail and
Tucasi. They all feature a parental account through which you can pay by credit
or debit card for items and services. Some also feature the opportunity to pay
through local shops (for example through PayPoint).
Moving
to online payments for the majority of payments would remove the need for
students to bring in cash for dinners and trips - helping to keep children
safer, save time within the administration of the school (for example in cash
handling processes) and allow better information to be available to parents on
student's dinner purchases and amounts due to the school.
We
would really like to hear your views, positive or otherwise, on whether you
would use this service and any suggestions or ideas you have. Could you please
spare 5 minutes to complete the survey on the below weblink to have your views
heard. Your responses are anonymous although please give us your details in
Question 7 if you are willing to be contacted for further information about
your responses.
If
you have any further queries or contributions please contact the School
Business Manager, Jake Greenwood.
